This work is part of the exhibition Speculazioni: geometrie, presented on 02/02/2020 with the intention of reflecting on the multiplicity of viewpoints and the need to activate them. The choice of a palindromic date — readable in both directions without changing its meaning — becomes integral to the concept: there is no single direction, but multiple points of access. It does not matter where one begins, but to begin.

 

The work explores space and thought as open and evolving systems. Structures of light — cubes, rooms, volumes — overlap and continuously redefine themselves, generating unstable configurations that shift with the viewer’s gaze.

 

Space is not given, just as thought is not fixed: both are constructed through the relationship between observer and vision. Each movement generates a new perspective, each perspective a new reality.

 

These volumes, seemingly empty, are not absence but possibility. They are spaces to be imagined, mentally traversed, and completed.

 

Light does not illuminate: it constructs. It draws temporary boundaries, suggesting that every form is open and every vision partial.

 

Every direction is a beginning.
